The Schedule at a Glance

The schedule links your planned target schedule with the automatic actual capture from oculai cameras. This lets you see what was planned and what actually happened on the construction site — and allows you to identify deviations in real time.

In the schedule the green bars show the temporal progression of work: The light green bars represent the planned construction progress (planned), while the dark green bars depict the actually recorded construction progress (actual).

Why a planned vs. actual schedule?

How is the actual determined?

The sum of the individual activities recognized by oculai determines the actual activity duration: First activity = activity start, Last activity = activity end.

Example: For the ceiling activity, the first formwork process automatically sets the start. The end is determined by the last detected ceiling concreting.

❕ Peripheral processes, such as stripping formwork or prefabricated elements installed at a later point in time (e.g. balconies), do not affect the end of the activity.

How do I see the underlying activities in the plan?

  1. Single click on the dark green actual bar

  2. Right-click activity row > "Show processes"

Is the actual captured for every activity in the schedule?

oculai captures the actual for all core activities in structural work (foundations to roof work). Not captured are for example: earthworks, project milestones, peripheral processes (preparatory and follow-up work), and MEP. In the standard view of the oculai schedule, only the captured or yet-to-be-captured activities are displayed. To see the complete schedule, all non-captured activities can be shown via the "Complete Plan" toggle.

´

What does the activity status "non-critical" mean?

oculai captures actual data for the activity, however the actual duration of the activity is not taken into account for determining the parent summary tasks and thus also has no influence on the forecast of the end date and the project progress.

Can I adjust the oculai actual?

Yes, you can adjust the oculai actual via: "Edit activity" or double-click on the activity. Furthermore, you can also enter an actual for activities that are not captured by oculai, such as peripheral processes that cannot be captured by the camera.

❕ Manually adjusted activities will no longer be automatically adjusted by newly detected processes.

Can I adjust the planned?

Yes, there are 2 options for this:

Option 1: Import an updated schedule (recommended)

Here you can learn more about schedule import and versioning.

Option 2: Edit mode (planned)

Via the three-dot menu you can activate the edit mode for the planned schedule. After activation, a red border appears — you can exit the edit mode via the "X" at the top center. Individual activities can now be edited either via the date selection (start and end) or via drag & drop of the individual bars.

After changes to the planned have been made, the planning engine can be run again by re-planning to recalculate the schedule based on dependencies and activity durations.
