A

Actual

Automatically determined by oculai.

Actual Lead Time

Calculated based on the working hours configured in the project settings and excludes public holidays, company holidays, and critical disturbances.

Active working days

Days on which at least one activity took place. They are calculated based on the working hours configured in the project settings and exclude public holidays, company holidays, and disturbances.

B

Bad Weather

Defined in the project settings. There you specify from which weather conditions a bad weather warning is automatically displayed in the daily construction report.

C

Camera failures

Days on which cameras were not in operation. A camera failure day is a working day on which the cameras relevant to the component were not in operation for more than 50% of the time.

Complete schedule

The full schedule including all trades and sections.

Construction pace

Construction pace shows how much construction progress has changed in a selected time period (e.g. last 2 weeks). It describes how quickly the project is currently advancing.

Cycle time

Describes the time span from the start to the completion of a process (e.g. a construction section or trade). It shows how many working days were actually needed, including breaks, standstills, or camera failures.

D

Delta to plan

Deviation between planned and actual status.

Dependencies

The logical relationship between two activities in a schedule. They define the order in which processes may take place and how delays in one activity affect subsequent activities.

G

Gallery

Hourly construction site images, collected per day and retrievable by date.

I

Inactive Working Days

Days on which no activity took place. They are calculated based on the working hours configured in the project settings and exclude public holidays, company holidays, and disturbances.

Integrations

Connections to other tools.

L

Live
Real-time camera view — shows the current construction site image.

Low-bandwidth mode
Economy mode for poor internet connections: lower data usage, image remains usable.

M

Monte Carlo Simulation

The forecast is based on thousands of simulated project scenarios and shows which ranges of progress are likely to occur.

O

Onboarding
Getting started with oculai: setup, first steps, and how to start effectively.

P

Planned

Planned working days are taken from the schedule.

Planned working days

Calculated based on the working hours configured in the project settings and exclude public holidays and company holidays.

Productive time

Time in working days. Calculated as follows:

[net process duration] / [duration of average working day].

Production rate

Calculated from: (duration × weighted average workers) / quantity.

Production rate (duration/quantity)

The production rate is calculated from the sum of all process durations divided by the quantity. The crew size is not taken into account.

Calculation: (sum of all process durations) / (quantity).

Progress

Current status of a section or trade as a planned/target-actual comparison over time.

Public links

Shareable links for external parties to view certain views without logging in.

S

Special Events

Events that lie outside the normal construction workflow and are relevant to project management can be documented here. These include, for example, inspections, directives, additional services, or special deployments.

U

Utilization

Utilization describes how focused work was on a component.

Calculation: (productive time in working days) / (active working days).

W

Widget

An interactive dashboard element that visualizes a saved report. It displays important metrics or charts directly in the dashboard and automatically updates with the latest project data.

Working hours

Calculated from: (duration per process interval) × (number of workers).

Working day status unknown

Days on which the status of activities cannot be clearly determined. They arise when there are deviations between detected processes and the actual time period of an event.
