How do I embed a stream, video, or the gallery into my website?

This article explains how project admins can create, manage, and externally share or embed via iFrame public camera links.

With the Publish function, project admins can create public camera links and make camera content accessible to people without an oculai account. The links can be shared externally or simply embedded directly into a website via iFrame.

❕ The functionality is only available for project admins.

Creating public links

Public links can be created directly from the live view, the image archive (gallery), as well as from the daily or overall timelapses.

To do so, click on "Publish" at the top right.

When creating the link, you specify:

  • Link expiry: The link can expire at a specific time or be set to "Never". Additionally, any link can be manually deactivated at any time.

  • Live type:

    • Live image – an updated single image every 60 seconds

    • Live video – live stream at 1 FPS

Managing public links

An overview of all active and expired public camera links can be found in the settings under the public links section. There you can view or revoke existing links at any time.
